Dassault Systèmes helps Häagen-Dazs sell in France
Häagen-Dazs ice cream, a General Mills brand, is using Dassault Systèmes’ Perfect Shelf design programme to engage in merchandising strategies in France.
General Mills France looked to inject innovation into the retail ice cream category by offering a differentiated and expanded Häagen-Dazs range, using an innovative approach to better collaborate with retailers and position its new product line.
Perfect Shelf helps General Mills France demonstrate category merchandising expertise to retailers by recommending shelving scenarios and maximising the packaging and any on-pack marketing, based on shopper research.
Stanislas de Maleissye, director, category trade management, General Mills France, said the food giant selected Perfect Shelf to help it shape a ‘new vision’ for the ice cream category and achieve shelving-related growth
“This collaborative solution brings a new and innovative dimension to category management; we’ve only just begun to use Perfect Shelf. Tomorrow, this solution will show its full potential, from product marketing design to its positioning at the core of retailers’ merchandising strategies.”
Philippe Loeb, vice president, consumer packaged goods & retail industry, Dassault Systèmes added: “Dassault Systèmes’ ‘Perfect Shelf’ industry solution experience was designed to help leading consumer packaged goods companies better collaborate with their customers, and deploy winning merchandising strategies faster.”
