As part of the launch of the new Lindt HELLO range, Lindt chocolate Ireland want to get people saying ‘Hello’. And, what better way to do just that than at a dating event! Lindt has teamed up with The MatchMaker to sponsor one of their events which will take place in Tonic Bar (Blackrock Co. Dublin) on Thursday 26th September at 8.30pm – for more details go to www.thematchmaker.ie Here, The MatchMaker guests will get to say ‘Hello’ to new people whilst enjoying a selection of Lindt HELLO goodies from the newly launched range.
Speaking on the event, Creator and Managing Director of The MatchMaker, Sharon Kenny said “I’m delighted to have Lindt on board for this event. The new HELLO range is the perfect fit for what we do here at The MatchMaker. Getting like minded people together to meet and say ‘hello’ for the first time is what we do best and our guests will have even more reasons to say hello and get talking as they try the delicious new HELLO range”.
Lindt asked The MatchMaker to give some insight into how Irish people normally say ‘hello’ and some interesting findings have come to light. When asked how Irish people usually go about finding a date The MatchMaker revealed that the number one place to say ‘hello’ is in the pub followed by online. For those who are really serious about finding the right person to say ‘hello’ to, the third place spot goes to dating agencies. It seems the dating online scene is rife with smoke and mirrors as both men and women are inclined to tell someuntruths to impress their dates – men tend to exaggerate their height, lower their age and talk up their salaries whilst women tend to dance around their actual age! – but both sexes are far more truthful when they use a dating agency. Daters in Dublin are less willing to compromise on their ‘wish list’ than other daters throughout the county and TheMatchMaker boasts an 80% success rate amongst its clients. Busy professionals are the most likely to‘put their money’ where their heart is’ in an effort to find the perfect match to say ‘hello’ to.
