Yearsley Food Sales put new Urban Trailers into operation
Leading frozen food suppliers Yearsley Food Saleshave today put their first Urban Trailers into operationin a bid to further reduce the carbon footprint from its nationwide operation.
The trailers which allow for increased load fills, and therefore a reduction in the number of journeys required also enhance the manoeuvrability of the operation within town centres. They also carry a new livery as part of the recent corporate rebranding. The livery shows the new logo andhighlights just a handful of the product range available which includes over 1000 different frozen food lines
Sales Director, Ian King said “These new additions to our fleet of over 300 vehicles represent our next steps in an on-going strategy of replacing vehicles to ensure they remain as environmentally friendly and cost efficient as possible. We can now access more customers, in and around built up, urban areas more efficiently and as a result deliver on time as the customer requires, improving the overall service we ultimately offer.”
