Change in Emmi’s Board of Directors
Top Unilever executive Monique Bourquin (pictured) has been nominated as a new member of the board of Swiss dairy group Emmi to replace Joseph Deiss, who has decided to step down at the 2013 annual general meeting on 25 April 2013.
As a former Head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs with in-depth knowledge of Swiss and global agricultural policy, Joseph Deiss was an important figure on Emmi’s board of directors. He supported the successful development of the company at all times, while also being deeply committed to ensuring Switzerland’s role as a strong production location.
Monique Bourquin has many years of top management experience at Unilever and is currently CFO, Vice President Finance, of Unilever Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With her specialist knowledge of the food industry and of marketing, sales and finance, Monique Bourquin is an ideal complement to Emmi’s board.
