Exhibitors set to launch new products at Packaging Innovations show
A total of 63% of exhibitors will be launching new products and services at this year’s PI show
Visitors to the show, which opens its doors on 27 and 28 February 2013 in halls 18 & 19 at Birmingham’s NEC, will be able to see Neutroplast’s (stand A56) new Antony range of bottles, specifically designed to support Din20 pumps.
According to the firm, the new bottles were designed specifically for pharmaceutical products that require pump dosage systems and are physiologically adapted to the human hand, making them easier to use.
River Packaging (stand E47) will be unveiling a new range of ‘tamper evident’ jars, to complement the range of standard screw-top jars; all within the size range 150ml to 1750ml. The ‘tamper evident’ range incorporates an evident tear band, providing a clear indication that the jar may have been opened.
Printpack (stand G47) is launching its innovative printing technologies at the show: High Resolution Gravure (HRG) and 4SIGHT (Gravure Fixed Colour Palette). HRG offers sharper print quality than any other flexible packaging print process. 4SIGHT reduces the number of process colours required to create a wide ranging colour gamut.
Lubricants will be a key theme for Andpak (stand B2) which stocks a wide variety of suitable tubes from Semco and other suppliers and offers quickly turned round lubricants in cartridges and sachets from 2 grammes up to 800 grammes.
Jim Rowbotham, managing director at Andpak , said: “Last year was our first year at Packaging Innovations, we had a great show and we are back to try and continue where we left off”.
