Contract packers to showcase new products at Birmingham’s NEC
A wide range of contract packing firms will be showcasing new products at next month’s Contract Pack 2013 at the NEC in Birmingham
Show organisers easyFairs said that Lemonpath (stand H29) will be using the show to launch its new service, designed to offer, what it calls, “greater flexibility to companies requiring short to medium runs”. Working with most packaging substrates, the service includes one-off mock-ups, or multiple sample production, together with a digital print facility.
In another show first, Blue Frog Packing (stand H36), known for its decorative sleeve steam application process, will be unveiling a new aerosol can decorative steam sleeving process. It will also showcase its bespoke contract packing and project management services.
Techtron Manufacturing (stand J27) will be showcasing its new sachet line capable of liquid and powder filling. The company manufactures, blends and packages liquid based product for retail, industrial, janitorial and speciality chemical markets.
Techtron Manufacturing commercial manager David Shepherd said: “As an exhibitor at Contract Pack for over four years the show has provided us with a great opportunity to showcase our business and meet up with both existing and potential new customers. The show attracts sole traders through to multi-nationals all under one roof; we’ve met new customers whom we wouldn’t have otherwise had the opportunity to meet.”
Many other well-known contract packers will be descending on Birmingham’s NEC on 27 and 28 February, according to easyFairs.
BCMPA chief executive Rodney Steel said: “The BCMPA’s Contract Pack feature at the recent easyFairs London show reinforced yet again the extent to which brand owners are keen to outsource all, or part, of their packing and manufacturing operations. Our exhibiting members had a very busy show and we look forward to the NEC in February where we will have over 30 members taking part.”
