Call for Entries for European Business Awards 2013/14
Entries are now being accepted from innovative and entrepreneurial Irish businesses and individuals wishing to compete in Europe’s toughest business competition, the European Business Awards 2013/14. The Awards provide an unprecedented opportunity for European businesses to represent their country and win a coveted European Business Award in one of eleven award categories. Irish businesses of all sizes and across all sectors can enter. The closing date for entries to be submitted is 31 March 2013.
Aidan Scollard, Partner responsible for the European Business Awards at RSM Farrell Sparks, the main sponsors of the Awards, says, “The European Business Awards provide dynamic and forward thinking businesses with a platform to showcase their achievements and share their success with other like-minded companies. The Awards attract many ambitious enterprises which are looking outside of their home bases and towards markets in Europe and beyond. Previous European Business Award winners have included Kilkenny based Terry Clune of Taxback.com who won the RSM International Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2010.”
The Awards entries are judged by an elite panel of European business and political figures. Past judges and references for the European Business Awards have included Christine Lagarde (IMF), Yves Leterme Belgian Prime Minister, Karel De Gucht, European Trade Commissioner, Wim Kok, former Dutch Prime Minister, José María Aznar, former Prime Minister of Spain, Petar Stoyanov, former President of Bulgaria; and Emil Constantinescu, former President of Romania.
