Glanbia to Build New Cereal Processing Facility

Glanbia Nutritionals Ingredient Technologies, a global innovator in value-added protein and flaxseed ingredients, is to build a 40,000 sq ft cereal ingredient processing facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in the US. TheSioux Fallslocation will replace the company’s plant in Angusville, Manitoba which was destroyed by fire in March 2012.
Glanbia Nutritionals Ingredient Technologies is part of Irish and international cheese and nutritional solutions group Glanbia.
The new facility inSioux Falls will produce MeadowPure® Quality whole and milled flaxseed ingredients as well as other seed and grain products. The facility is expected to be operational by July 2013.
