JDO creates branding for new Czech beer
Design agency JDO has linked up with Heineken to create the brand identity for a new extension to its Zlatopramen beer
The Czech Republic brand has launched Zlatopramen Zimni, a beer mixed with pear fruit juice and cinnamon spice and which can be served hot or cold.
The new brand is being launched in the on and off trade in the Czech Republic as a seasonal offer.
Paul Drake, JDO’s creative director said: “We have tried to evolve the master Zlatopramen brand while incorporating warm, comforting hues communicating the winterish nature of the drink.”
David Zappe, group brand manager for the brand, added: “The challenge was to overcome the strong seasonality in the consumption of flavoured beers and to develop a drink to substitute other typical alcoholic winter drinks. With this great new design, JDO have enabled us to tap into this market and to reach consumers who want to try something new.”
