Schubert hires new UK managing director
The UK division of automated packaging kit maker Schubert has restructured its operation with the appointment of a new managing director
Mark Stepney takes on the role having joined the company back in 2009 as operations director. He has 20 years experience in the packaging industry and had spells at Mecaplastic and Star Automation.
“I am delighted to accept the position of managing director,” said Stepney. “I very much look forward to driving the company forward in what are interesting and challenging times. We have a great team here at Schubert UK, and I am excited about working with them to develop our business in the coming years.”
Also stepping up is Mark Jocelyn who takes on the newly created role of sales manager. He was previously sales account Manager in the UK and Ireland and held that position since 2008.
However, the restructure has resulted in the departure of sales director David Maddern.
