A FRESH APPROACH TO MEAT PORTIONING
Marel adds a new I-Cut 1000 PortionCutter to its comprehensive range of portioning machines.
The Marel I-Cut 1000 is designed for high speed, high yield portioning of a variety of fresh, boneless meat products, such as pork belly, pork neck, pork loin or beef strip loin.
Featuring an inclined product bed, the I-Cut 1000 combines high performance with superb presentation, and delivers individual portions, well-defined stacks or shingles – efficiently and consistently.
The new Marel I-Cut 1000 is easy to operate and can meet a variety of production requirements. Product is elevated by a load assist table and manually loaded into the machine. A choice of involute or orbital blades is available – with live product side control and incremental thickness control as standard.
Yield Optimisation
I-Cut 1000 is supplied with a number of operational modes which can be simply and easily programmed via the operator panel. These modes include yield optimisation to a maximum slice thickness, and yield optimisation to a minimum slice thickness.
As with all Marel machines, the I-Cut 1000 has been designed for low maintenance, easy hygiene and a high level of reliability. And, for maximum production flexibility and minimum on-cost, additional options can be retro fitted at any time.
Checkweigher Feedback
I-Cut 1000 can be supplied with checkweigher feedback for automatic regulation of the average pack weight. Real time data from the checkweigher about performance is fed back to the portion cutter, allowing adjustments to be made for optimum operating performance. I-Cut 1000 can operate as a stand alone machine or it can be integrated with a range of manual, fixed or random (catch) weight production lines.
