Holger Riemensperger Appointed General Manager of Frutarom Health

Frutarom Industries, one of the ten leading flavours and fine ingredients houses in the world, has appointed Holger Riemensperger at general manager of its global health business unit. Holger Riemensperger joins Frutarom after a successful and challenging career, first with AkzoNobel Chemicals Corp, then with Cognis Corp and most recently with BASF after it acquired Cognis at 2010 as global head of food ingredients. At Cognis/BASF, he was responsible for global sales; strategy development and implementation; and new business development, including evaluation of potential strategic acquisitions.
Holger Riemensperger brings with him extensive and diverse experience, having progressed from production and process development into sales and marketing before rapidly taking the lead as head of operations. His expertise spans operations, sales and marketing and crosses into business and management.
Frutarom’s health business unit is focused on providing advanced and healthy natural solutions for the nutraceutical, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
