Birmingham-based Hygiene Stores UK, a specialist division of Hygiene Group specialising in the supply of cleaning and janitorial equipment, has injected further expertise into its team with the appointment of Tom Yates as business development manager.

With 8 years’ experience in the industry, five of which were spent as customer accounts manager at United Biscuits, one of Hygiene Group’s existing clients, Tom couples sales expertise with product and site survey knowledge making him a valued addition to the team.

Tom joins Hygiene Group from Cannon Hygiene where he worked as a hygiene consultant. He said: “I am delighted to be joining Hygiene Stores which offers one of the sectors widest ranges of cleaning products and an enviable client list. My background dealing with food and healthcare hygiene solutions places me in good stead to not only fulfil existing clients’ needs, but also use my knowledge and skills to build relationships with new ones.”
