FrieslandCampina Sells Creamy Creation
Royal FrieslandCampina has sold its cream liqueur manufacturing business, Creamy Creation based at Rijkevoort in the Netherlands, to Dutch investment company Wagram Equity Partners. The transaction includes the production of cream liqueurs in Rijkevoort and sales office in Paramus (the United States of America).
FrieslandCampina has decided to focus more on nutritional and functional solutions with its ingredients. It was also agreed between parties that Wagram will start producing canned cream for FrieslandCampina in Rijkevoort.
Since its establishment in 1979, Creamy Creation has developed itself into a successful player in the cream liqueurs segment. The company has 84 employees. The deal is subject to the usual conditions, including the required regulatory approvals. It is expected to complete in the last quarter of this year.
