Latest news from Redpack is the marriage of their Flow Wrapping machines with Allen Bradley drive and control systems.
Redpack have been using Allen-Bradley electrical and safety related components for some time but had not taken the final step of
including the drive system, it’s been a sort of a long engagement period to get to know each other. Now they have taken the plunge and
completed the relationship and are looking to forge ahead with new drive and improved control.
Machine adjustments, including temperature control, are displayed as Pictorial commands on the 10.5” Allen-Bradley colour touch screen and can be easily interpreted by machine operators. Of course the system supports communication between other plant and equipment and can be arranged to provide data collection.
Allen Bradley has fans amongst the most influential of the world’s manufacturers and, because of the availability of world wide support, has become their preferred drive control system supplier. Redpack also have a significant following from many Blue Chip clients who know that the reliability of Redpack machines sets
