With a science degree, several years of technical management and an ability to influence sites remotely you should be driven, passionate, customer orientated and commercially astute. Knowledge of HACCP, BRC and Technical Quality Management is key, as is up-to-date knowledge of food legislation. Credibility, competence, leadership and flexibility are important attributes.
